The QA&TEST Embedded conference, dedicated to testing and software quality for embedded systems, has announced the first speakers for its program. The conference will be held from October 9-11 in Bilbao, Spain.
The confirmed speakers and their talks are:
- Juan Carlos Sánchez Mirabal (Werfen, Spain): Prompt engineering in SW test: Accelerating SW test. This talk will explore the concept of “prompt engineering” and its application to accelerate software testing. This involves the meticulous creation of instructions to guide language models or artificial intelligence systems, with the goal of obtaining accurate responses.
- Rahul Parwal (IFM Engineering, India): IoT Test Automation: Achieving Efficiency with Hardware Software Fusion. This presentation will address the automation of testing in IoT systems, where it is necessary to control and verify both hardware and software together. An approach will be presented to achieve a fully automated IoT test execution process that leverages ethernet-controlled relays to automate software in the loop system.
- Bryan Bakker (Sioux Technologies, The Netherlands): Towards integration as a non-event: MBT experiences with electron microscopes. The talk will focus on Thermo Fisher Scientific’s experience with Model-Based Testing (MBT) to manage the increasing complexity of electron microscope software. Manual testing is not scalable to address this complexity, so advanced automation methods are required. The benefits of MBT, the challenges and recommendations for its application will be shared.
- Benjamin Jurg (BeDif, The Netherlands): Do you smell something funny too? Based on his experience in audits, Benjamin Jurg has developed a method to automatically detect potential problems and risks during a review. His talk will present the Amarula tool and its approach to improving the quality and consistency of audits.
