Bilbao, a city to enjoy

Bilbao is not just the host city of QA&TEST — it is part of the experience itself. Walking through its streets means finding a unique balance between tradition and modernity: the Old Town with its Seven Streets, the iconic Guggenheim Museum that has become a symbol of innovation, and the river that runs through the city bringing it to life.

Culture is everywhere here, from its architecture to its people. And of course, there is the gastronomy: few places in the world can boast such a varied and delicious offering. From the famous pintxos in the taverns to the haute cuisine of Michelin-starred chefs, every bite is a celebration. Eating in Bilbao is not just about food, it is about living the city.

Practical tips for your stay:

  • The Old Town is only 15 minutes from the Euskalduna, perfect for wandering its streets and enjoying a pintxo dinner with colleagues.
  • If you stay in the city center, you can walk to most of the key places.
  • Don’t leave without trying a glass of txakoli or a pintxo of bacalao al pil-pil: both are must-have experiences in Bilbao.
  • Feel free to ask the organization if you need help with accommodation — we’ll be happy to assist: info@qatest.org

Euskalduna Palace, much more than a venue

The Euskalduna Palace is not just a conference center — it is one of the city’s landmarks. Designed in the shape of a ship under construction, it pays tribute to Bilbao’s industrial past while also symbolizing its openness to the future. Bright, modern, and internationally awarded, it is the perfect place for an event that seeks to inspire and innovate.

Attending QA&TEST at the Euskalduna means learning in a spectacular space, with versatile rooms, privileged views of the river, and every service designed to make the experience comfortable, smooth, and memorable.

Experience

An experience to remember

Beyond the talks and workshops, QA&TEST is also about enjoying Bilbao. Sharing a coffee with colleagues while discovering new flavors, ending the day with a pintxo dinner in the Old Town, or simply letting yourself be surprised by the city’s vibrant energy.

We want you to experience these days not just as a conference attendee, but as part of a unique journey that blends knowledge, culture, and enjoyment. Because Bilbao is not just visited — it is lived.
