The evolution of the Embedded Software testing in the last 2 decades
The Embedded Software Testing experienced a drastic transformation in the last 2 decades. Together with it, the role, background and expertise of people dealing with these activities also changed dramatically. From manual and exploratory testing to heavily CI/CD focused approach.
In the presentation I will try to explore and analyze these changes, understand this transformation and describe what is really needed from a Embedded Software Test Engineer proffessional in today’s reality.

Ariel Cymberknoh is a CI/CD and Embedded Software Test Automation Manager. After 24 years career as Firmware Validation manager for Intel’s Security and Manageability products, Ariel moved to Mobileye to lead the CI/CD and test automation infrastructure for ADAS and AV (Autonomous Vehicle) projects.
Ariel has been very active in the Embedded Software Test community, presenting in numerous forums and conferences.
